Mount Nun is one of the most remarkable peaks in the Indian Himalayas, standing at 7,135 meters (23,409 feet). It is the highest peak of the Nun Kun massif, located in the Suru Valley of Ladakh, India. • First Ascent: Achieved on July 15 1953 by French climbers Bernard pierre and Pierre Vittoz.

• Common Route: The most frequently attempted route starts from Tangol village, ascending via the west face – west ridge route.
